Autoliv creates LIV with the help of Smart Eye

Future system generations will use both online and offline based machine learning where information will be taken from multiple data sources to develop the relation with the individual driver.

Autonomous care makes it possible to decrease the number of traffic accidents in the future. At CES Autoliv will show a Volvo XC90 with LIV, a system that gives the driver support though artificial intelligence.

“Autoliv have created an AI that is perceived to be supportive and kind. The car communicates with the driver in a way that makes you feel taken care of. We are very proud of being able to contribute to this innovation says Martin Krantz”, the CEO of Smart Eye.

In the car is an eye tracking system with four cameras from Smart Eye. The cameras are seamlessly integrated in the interior and practically invisible.

“Smart Eye staff have been part of the project all along and will be on site for CES. Autoliv have been able to see autonomous driving from the persepective of the user” says Martin Krantz
